Jesus Seeks The Lost!
This is how we model our ministry. We seek the lost- we give our students a safe place where they feel welcome and can be themselves, we build Christ-centered relationships by getting to know them, we ask about their lives, and over time, we see the transformation happen. Sometimes it’s because of a simple action, sometimes it’s because of a conversation, and sometimes it’s our consistent presence with them that matters.
From Middle School to Faith: How Summer Camp Is Changing Lives for Teen Girls
We have a group of girls who have been part of Youth for Christ since middle school, and it has been such a joy to be part of their journey. Watching them grow over the years and being included in their stories has meant so much to us.
Walking alongside students is a gift.
What mattered was that he heard something true: that Jesus is intentional in His love.
God is working in the hearts of our students
We never really know what God is doing in the hearts of the students who walk through our doors. But we do know this: we’re called to be faithful, to show up, and to gently point others toward Him. The rest—what grows, when it grows, and how it takes shape—is in His hands.
Where Transformation Begins…
These students are all in different places in their walk with Jesus. Some are curious. Some are unsure. Some are sensing that God is stirring something deeper in their hearts.
A Question at the Counter
Last Tuesday, near the end of drop-in, the room had that slow, restless energy it gets when most of the crowd has gone home. About ten students were still hanging around, not quite ready to leave. I was standing by the counter with Leslie, talking through the food schedule for next week, when Tyler wandered over.
Impact doesn’t always come through in big moments!
That’s what our teen center is about. Being open. Being consistent. Creating a space where students like Henry know they belong, where volunteers show up day after day, and relationships are built over time. We don’t force conversations about faith—we offer an invitation. And often, that invitation looks like listening, laughing, and showing up consistently.
